Community Rugby League Clubs and Districts across New South Wales are being encouraged to start planning, with NSW Rugby League confirming that Round 2 of the Infrastructure Investment Fund will open in May.

Following the success of Round 1, the program continues to provide important funding to support the upgrade and development of Rugby League facilities across the state. The fund is designed to assist community clubs and councils to deliver infrastructure projects that strengthen participation, improve player experiences, and support long-term sustainability.

Eligible projects for Round 2 include a wide range of facility improvements such as field upgrades, lighting, irrigation and drainage, as well as amenity and changeroom enhancements.

Clubs and stakeholders are encouraged to begin early discussions with key partners, including local councils, to ensure projects are well planned and aligned with broader community needs.

The Infrastructure Investment Fund has already demonstrated its impact, with previous funding rounds supporting significant projects across NSW, helping to improve facilities and create better environments for players, volunteers and communities.

Further details, including program guidelines and application information, will be released when Round 2 officially opens. Clubs and Districts are encouraged to stay informed and consider how potential projects align with their long-term planning and growth priorities.
